I made few thank you cards to give to my buddies after Christmas. I had a root around in my box of papers and found a few that I hadnt used for about 6 years! All of the papers are basic grey. I used my new star dies aswell. Im really pleased with how they turned out as its not my usual style!

A card for 3 challenges

 

I have been at home today, as I refuse to drive in snow! lol.

I thought that Id best do something rather than just shlomp on the sofa all day.

And here is the result (sorry for the awful photo, I am a bit rubbish at taking pics).

So I have a little friend called Orla who was 6 recently, who is obsessed with Moshi Monsters, so I wanted to make her a special card.

I printed off a colouring page of this little dude, and coloured him in, and then used bits of card, buttons etc to make a bit of a background for him to go on:

My Friend asked me to make a wedding card for her to give to some very good friends of hers, as all the ones in the shop were tacky!

Quite a compliment I thought! lol

 

I went for white on white with a few pearls as I always think it looks gorgeous,

Chritmas presents

 

I thought I would share a pic of what I made my crafty buddies for Christmas:

 

 

 

They each got a birdie garland, in different colours (I made 2 more).

I quite enjoyed making these, and might do one for myself aswell.

Have to think what I can make for them this year! It will be soon be upon us!

my 1st ever scrapbook page

Well, after not posting for ages, I do 2 days in a row.

When Beth at Stamp n Craft challenged us to do a scrapbook page, I knew it had to be about my gorgeous boy Noddy who sadly died in October :(

Im really pleased with how it turned out:

 

 

The letters are super glittery, they were horrible and stripey before, but I painted some PVA on them, dipped them in gliter and then covered in glossy accents, locking the glitter in so it wont fall off everywhere everytime you touch the page:

Its been a while!

Hello Peeps,
Its been a while since I updated my blog, must try harder this year!

Here is a set of cards I made for my friend for Xmas.
I used my distress inks to make a background, and then stamped my penny black "aspire" stamp in a couple of different inks, and then a little butterfly fluttering away.
I was so pleased with how these turned out, I made another 6 for my other friend!
